The Location
Experience the excitement of Brazilian showjumping from the heart of São Paulo, South America’s largest and most dynamic city. Riders will train at the prestigious Doda Equestrian Centre, one of Brazil’s leading high-performance equestrian facilities, under the expert guidance of Charlie Bays, South African World Equestrian Games representative and internationally respected coach.
Following an intensive training programme, riders will compete at the iconic Sociedade Hípica Paulista (SHP), one of the most prestigious equestrian venues in South America. Renowned for hosting many of Brazil’s premier national and international showjumping competitions, SHP offers an electric atmosphere, world-class facilities and the opportunity to compete in the same arena as some of the continent’s top riders.
Combining exceptional coaching, outstanding horses and competition at one of South America’s most celebrated venues, this tour delivers an unforgettable international showjumping experience in one of the world’s most passionate equestrian nations.
The Training
Our Brazilian adventure begins in serious style with several days of training at the incredible Doda Training Center (DTC) in São Paulo. Created by six-time Olympian and two-time Olympic bronze medallist Doda Miranda, DTC is one of Brazil’s premier high-performance equestrian centres, purpose-built to train and develop top-level horses and riders.
With multiple international-standard arenas, more than 200 permanent stables, dedicated warm-up and training areas, veterinary facilities, a restaurant, VIP areas and an impressive equestrian boulevard, this is far more than a training stable. It is a world-class equestrian destination that regularly hosts major national and international competitions. (Doda Training Center)
GAT riders will call DTC home for several days, training with South African World Equestrian Games representative Charlie Bays while getting to know their horses and preparing for the competition ahead.
Train where Olympians train, experience one of South America’s leading equestrian centres, and prepare for competition surrounded by some of the very best in the sport. 🇧🇷🐎
