About the tour:
Arrive into Mexico City and spend the first day exploring the vibrant historical centre. From here you will go by organised transport to our training venue where the horse ballot will take place. You will then spend the next four days training with your chef d’equipes and getting to know your borrowed horse before the Puebla CSI 2* begins.
Each category will jump a maximum of three classes with individual and overall prizes up for grabs.
In and around training and competition you will have the chance to visit ancient pyramids, historic villages and hone your Español whilst downing tacos and margaritas in this exotic location.
The Chef d'Equipe will assist the selected riders throughout the trip, as well as providing administrative support with flights, accommodation, etc prior to the event.
The location:
The competition venue is located in Puebla, two hours south east of Mexico City.
From its colonial buildings to its Talavera pottery and rich gastronomy, Puebla is the fourth largest city in Mexico and one of the most fascinating. Due to its history and architectural styles ranging from Renaissance to Mexican Baroque, the city was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.
Puebla’s historic center is home to vibrant restaurants, shops, ornate cathedrals and chapels including the Capilla del Rosario, featuring 24K golden stucco and one of the most visually striking chapels in all of Mexico. There are also many interesting museums, including the first public library opened in the Americas
