The Global Amateur Tour (GAT) is thrilled to announce its newest destination and final tour of 2025, GAT USA. This unique training and competition hybrid experience will be held in Ocala, Florida, in collaboration with internationally acclaimed Grand Prix show jumper Ronny Riemer, also known as “The German Riding Instructor.”
Set to take place from 25 October to 3 November 2025, this eleven-day experience offers riders from around the world the rare opportunity to both train and compete in the heart of America’s equestrian capital

A Tour Like No Other
The love of horses is deeply rooted in American culture, and nowhere embodies that spirit more than Ocala, Florida, often referred to as the Horse Capital of the World.
Through the GAT USA Hybrid Tour, riders will immerse themselves in one of the most dynamic equestrian destinations on the planet, refining their hunter or jumper skills under expert coaching while riding top quality sport horses at world class facilities.
The tour combines four days of professional training with three days of competition, all guided by Riemer’s extensive experience and infectious energy. Participants will also attend seminars with leading industry experts, enjoy stable tours, and watch top sport at the renowned Ocala International Horse Show.
Beyond the arena, riders will experience the very best of Florida’s vibrant culture, from Universal Studios and Silver Springs State Park to canyon zip lining, kayaking, and championship golf.
“This tour represents everything GAT stands for — global connection, personal growth, and unforgettable equestrian experiences,” says Lucy Olphert, GAT Co-Founder. “Bringing riders together from around the world to train, compete, and explore in the United States is a huge milestone for us.”
