Set deep in the countryside of Rhineland-Palatinate, GAT Germany 2026 runs from 14 to 25 May and offers twelve days of riding, learning, and full immersion in a country widely regarded as the spiritual home of showjumping. Daily coaching comes from international showjumper Steffen Hauter, a five-time German Nations Cup Team member and Grand Prix winner who travels the world giving clinics from the USA to Mexico, the UAE, Jordan and across Europe. He is fluent in English and known for being generous with his expertise, which makes him an exceptional fit for riders who want to come home with real, lasting improvements.
Training takes place at Hauter Horses, a state-of-the-art facility just fifteen minutes from accommodation. Riders work across a large outdoor arena and a beautifully appointed indoor arena, with hacking trails through the surrounding countryside for the days when a quiet wander is what the horse needs.
What's included:
Six days of training with Steffen
A relaxed training show to put new skills to work
Two days spectating at CSI Aachen, the Wimbledon of equestrian sport
A visit to one of the largest tack stores in the region
Sightseeing options including Heidelberg Castle or a day trip to Colmar, France
Hotel accommodation in ZweibrĂĽcken with a Kloster Hornbach upgrade available
Different countries, different levels, and very different riding backgrounds, but all of our riders are here for the same common goal. Riders who would otherwise never share a warm-up ring will be training side by side, learning from each other and from one of the most respected coaches in Europe, and heading home with new skills, new friends and a story they'll tell for the rest of their lives.
