The GAT Mexico Tour is shaping up to be something special, and the rider list says it all. From the cattle country of New South Wales to the mountains of Utah, from the Western Australian coast to the lakes of Ontario and the pampas of Argentina, this group is heading to Puebla with one thing in common: a love of the sport and the courage to chase it across borders.

Meet The Riders:

🇦🇺 Australia

  • Lauren Errington

  • Caitlin Pritchard

  • Paige Baxter

🇺🇸 USA

  • Ivy Malman

  • Tiffani Donahue

🇨🇦 Canada

  • Lynda Brady

🇦🇷 Argentina

  • Josefina Gonzalez

🇩🇪 Germany

  • Katrin Redetzki.

Among the riders are three returning Global Amateur Tour attendees, Lauren Errington having competing at GAT Brazil in 2018, Katrin Redetzki competed at GAT New Zealand in 2018 and Lynda Brady returning for training on GAT Portugal in 2025.

Nestled two hours southeast of Mexico City, Puebla is a cultural treasure and the backdrop for this year's CSI Puebla International 2*. A UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its baroque chapels, Talavera pottery, and the 24-karat gold stucco of the Capilla del Rosario, it is the kind of place where culture and competition collide in the best possible way.

The tour kicks off in vibrant Mexico City, with a day to soak up the colonial architecture and lively plazas of the historic centre before heading to the training venue for the horse ballot, where each rider meets the borrowed sport horse they will partner with for the tour ahead.

From there, riders will enjoy four days of tailored training led by international Grand Prix showjumper and GAT co-founder Christian Lopez Redetzki, alongside New Zealand Grand Prix rider and Chef d’Équipe Paxton Kirkbride. Together, Christian and Paxton will guide riders through personalised lessons, course walks, and daily coaching, ensuring every horse and rider combination receives the support and expertise needed to maximise their experience. Returning for her fourth Mexico tour, Paxton brings a wealth of competitive experience and has become a valued mentor and familiar face for many GAT riders.

Hosting on the ground are the Lopetzki family, Christian, Katrin, and Pepe, based in Mexico City and founders of Importaciones Lopetzki, one of the largest tack stores in the country, and the Copa Lopetzki Masters. Decades of equestrian heritage, deep local access, and the kind of warm Mexican hospitality you only get from people deeply embedded in their sport.
