We’re packing the passports, polishing the boots, and heading to France!

The GAT France Tour 2025 is almost here, and we’re beyond excited to introduce the incredible team of amateur riders selected to represent their countries on this unforgettable equestrian adventure.

From Aussie eventers and Kiwi show hunter stars to talented teens, South African sisters, and lifelong horse lovers from around the globe, this team is as diverse as it is dedicated. Together, they embody everything the Global Amateur Tour stands for: international spirit, passion-fuelled progress, and a whole lot of heart.


Let’s meet the dream team…👇


USA - Cari Smith

With 25 years in the saddle and a spot in the 2024 Retired Racehorse Project Makeover, Cari brings wisdom, calm energy, and deep knowledge. OTTBs, eventing, jumping -  she’s done it all.


NZ - Elisha Morrison

Show hunter queen, cross-discipline star, and all-around good vibes. Elisha has produced her own team and brings top-6 HOY results, serious horse sense, and a hunger to keep learning.


AUSTRALIA - Peyton Halloran

Olympic dreams start here. Peyton rides 4+ horses a day, has produced her own horses, and is already placing in the top 10 after just one year of competing. This rising star is full of fire.


USA - Bethany Carroll

From reined cow horses to 1.20m jumpers, Bethany’s journey is pure grit and growth. She’s a master of catch rides, greenies, and getting the most out of every horse!


SOUTH AFRICA - Lila Bottega

Lila Bottega is a talented South African rider with a confident, composed style in the ring, bringing strong equitation skills and a love for the sport to every ride.


AUSTRALIA - Imogen Robertson

A showjumping powerhouse. With podium finishes at Equimillions and Sydney Royal, Imogen competes up to 1.20m and runs her own training business. She lives and breathes the sport.


NZ - Tallulah Patterson

A true horsewoman with soft hands and big goals. From taming a Kaimanawa to representing her region in the South Island Pony Club Showjumping Championships, Tallulah brings quiet strength and dedication to everything she rides.


AUSTRALIA - Indigo Ellis

Podium placings, multiple rides, and a natural feel in the saddle - Indigo is a rising force. Quiet, capable, and confident, she’s ready to shine on the international stage.


SOUTH AFRICA - Gemma Bottega 

South African showjumper Gemma Bottega is a stylish and committed young rider with solid experience, known for her quiet determination, polished equitation, and passion for representing her country on the international stage.


AUSTRALIA - Addison Payne

Endurance meets show jumping! Addison brings 8 years of grit and versatility to the team, with national endurance titles, a youth scholarship win, and a love of all things OTTB. She’s one to watch.


SOUTH AFRICA - Molly Casey 

Molly is a talented young showjumper from South Africa with competition experience up to 1.10m and a 4th place national ranking in the 2024 1.00m Junior division. Selected for the South Africa Pony Club Exchange to China, she spent three weeks riding and competing on unfamiliar horses - an experience that showcased her adaptability and strong foundation in the sport.
