We’re packing the passports, polishing the boots, and setting our sights on São Paulo!

The GAT Brazil Tour 2025 is about to kick off, and we’re beyond excited to introduce the incredible team of amateur riders making the journey to compete and train alongside some of the best in the world.

Leading our Brazil riders will be Chef d’Equipe Stephen Dingwall, an accomplished Australian showjumper, trainer, and coach with over 25 years of international experience, joined by GAT co-founders Lucy Olphert and Alexander Stefan Dattelkremer. Together, this powerhouse team will guide our riders through a week of elite training, high-level competition, and cultural immersion, ensuring they get the full GAT experience both in and out of the saddle.

From outback Australians and South African stars to Bermudian talent, European champions, this team is a mix of passion, skill, and international spirit, so let’s meet the dream team… 👇

🇦🇺 Simone Sorensen Raised in outback Australia, Simone’s love for horses started early — so much so that when she went to boarding school, her horses went too. That’s where she found her passion for showjumping. Now competing up to 1.50m in Young Rider classes, Simone dreams of competing worldwide and breeding her own future superstar.

🇬🇧 Chloe Livesey Based in the south-east of England, Chloe juggles a full-time job at an agricultural machinery dealership with competing in international eventing up to 3* and British showjumping at 1.20m. São Paulo is her chance to showcase her skills on the global stage.

🇦🇺 Nicolas Gillard Born in France but an Aussie since 2010, Nico discovered showjumping five years ago and now competes up to 1.20m. Training with Grand Prix rider Will Mathew, he balances his consulting business with a deep passion for the sport — and is ready for the experience of a lifetime in Brazil.

🇨🇦 Haley Dietrich Haley’s riding journey began at age two in Vancouver, Canada. From pony jumpers to British university equestrian teams, young horse development in the Netherlands to East Coast USA jumper circuits, she’s done it all. Now she’s here to master the famous Brazilian “art of speed.”

🇿🇦 Annabel Noakes-Dobson At just 13, Annabel is a multi-discipline talent from Cape Town, with provincial representation since age 10 and wins in 1.10–1.20m classes. After an incredible campaign at #GAT Mexico earlier in the year, Annabel is eager to soak up further knowledge, compete on international horses, and embrace this dream opportunity.

🇦🇺 Sienna Holdsworth A force on the Australian junior and young rider scene, Sienna boasts wins at Adelaide and Sydney Royal along with consistent East Coast placings. She’s ready to take her competitive edge international.

🇿🇦 Zara Pappalardo Fresh from winning the SA Pony Rider Indoor Grand Prix and national equitation titles, Zara is a fierce competitor on both ponies and horses. With her sights set on 1.20m, she’s ready to test herself against the world’s best.

🇧🇲 Abby Bardgett Born and raised in Bermuda, Abby has been riding since age 10, developing a lifelong passion for jumping. Brazil marks her first CSI 5* experience — and she’s ready to make every moment count.

🇩🇪 Mia Lerchl Mia’s international riding career already spans South Africa and Spain, with wins including the Balearic Islands Children’s 1* Championship. Brazil is the next big step in her competitive journey.

🇧🇲 Alex McMartin Alex’s riding career began in Bermuda before taking her to the USA and back home to compete up to 1.15m. Brazil is her first South American adventure, and she’s ready to embrace every ride, every challenge, and every cultural moment.
